Jon,

I've got good/bad news for you, this is already the most famous Formula.... I know the feeling of having so much to do and not enought time to work on it. It only took 3+ years for me to get my 302 back together after blowing up in 05.

It also dropped the boat about 6" lower in the stern and over a foot at the bow. So the trailer got new fenders, new axles, new brakes, new tires, new rims, new bunks, new winch, Relocated winch post and rebalanced the trailer (boat had to move forward a LOT with the loss of the weight from my stringer project) and soon new lights. Once that is done I will probably tow it to a few shops and get some estimates on doing the stringers up front and modifying the engine bay for the new blower motors and transmisions. I would like to get the offshore style brakets in there if I can. Work may be headed for a slow down for me so I am thinking that I may have time to work on this again The boat is painted and buffed out. I am thinking that I am going to have the deck shot in the grey that Formula uses on their SS boats. I may also have the sides sprayed as well in the same color... Why not... It's only money
hey ifs slow we could practice doing a custom paint job on both boats like gerrys skater he said its a piece of cake once you get use to it just a lil tape and paper here and there.

Baja it is still under constuction... The hull is painted but then I started in with the deck, cabin, cockpit........ It is really quite a mess. So I purchased a 311 to tide me over tell I can get some time to work on this. Took this picture on the way up to Maine after I lost a tire.

Damn nice work man. What year was that, what power and how fast did you get it to run? Totally different engine bays in our boats!
