Looking for a Prop Puller in Boca
#12
this is most likely too late for this case , but i found it while searching for answers and i'm sure others will too
what i did to remove a coroded on stainless prop on a mercury 200 was , and this is after knowing that the prop was getting tossed
use an angle grinder to notch the prop 3 times towards the end of the bell (prop nut side) , then the standard puller that they sell at Napa for 40 bucks has something to lock onto , then just pull it like any other pulley
worked like a charm , i soaked mine in PB overnight and beat it with a 4 lbs sledge and it still didnt budge , the puller trick took 20 minutes and i'm ready to lube the shaft and slide my new prop on and get back on the water
