We....many moons ago...once got off the lake about midnight and the marina was closed so no pumpout....i didnt want to have all the "stuff" sitting for a week before i got back in the water so we stopped off at a local gas station....vaccumed out the whole boat and threw out the garbage then proceeded to use the vac to "empty the tank" I can only imaging the guys face that had to come clean it out the next time! :D:

I don't think the RV pump in the earlier posts will work. RV's use gravity, in a boat you have to suck it out, I use a shop Vac. I put water and some soap back in then suck out again. Doug

Waste removal
Fortunally I'm in the septic tank business. I just hook up a 2" hose to the truck, being careful not to create to much vacuum, have a plastic 15 gal tank, fill it w/water and apply suction, and keep water hose running to pump it clean.......HIGH LIFE
