Hello! Greetings from Finland! I´m thinking supercharge my boat engine, 454 magnum with weiand 177 or 250 and have few questions. Maybe you could help me with these?

I have marine heat exchanger mounted on my engine. See the picture in link: http://imgbox.com/4xdPGiYV

1. Is there any chance to keep it in place it`s mounted now?? (black round heat exchanger, bright "expansion tank" can be moved..). Would really want to keep it where it is because running out of space and have two seats next to engine. After SC these seats are for braves only

2. If the bottom of charger nose will contact that black heat exchanger, is it possible to lift charger from intake about 1"- 4" with aluminium spacer (will manufacture myself!)? Does this affect somehow to flow??

3. Is there any chance to fit MARINE thermostat housing under charger nose or always must be used "waterneck", for example

With this type of neck, is it possible to move thermostat to both sides of charger nose or only to left side?

4. What type and size carb would you recommend to this set-up, stock 454 magnum, Gil offshore exhaust + weiand SC 177 or 250?

Thanks!
