Are you doing data logs for your fine tuning? Are you running the wide band 02 to keep from going lean ?

Really nice, thanks. Do you remember the pulley size you used on that pull? looking at your numbers the procharger really came alive with RPM 3.5psi per 1000 rpm from 3500-4500, and 4500-5500. Then 4psi from 5500-6500. prochargers do like to spin...

That sucks ! we've been running them since 2002 without a problem, but we run EFI. Did you ever talk with Jim Sommers.

GPM, What do you have for a belt setup? i cant pull over 5400 without slipping and loosing boost Im calling Jim in the AM...
they sent me a 7.65 crank and 5.5 blower it slips @ 4500 9.8lbs boost, 1021tq, 870hp, @ 5500 im down to 6.6 lbs/boost and its slipping.
I put a larger blower pulley on it slowing it down a 6" which gives it more surface area, and boost peaked @ 5500 and started to lose boost and slip... I would be interested to see what you did for belt slippage. Im PMing you my phone numbers

Don, I'm just tossing ideas around here, I run 2, 1200 cfm throttle bodies, I ran an M-4 with no problem, when I switched to the 5, I had trouble with the rear throttle plates flipping upside down and sealing off under boost. And after thinking about it I believe it started smoking the belt at the same time. Maybe put a boost gauge before the throttle body just to see how much back pressure you have. I think you need to flow about 2000 cfm to make 1000 hp subtract what it's taking to turn the blower, you're putting a lot of air through that throttle body. Let me know what you find out, I'm curious. Steve Morris was the other Procharger guy. http://www.smreperformance.com/proch...lder-kits.html
