Thanks for all the input... I would loveto have JL or ALPINE amps, but i just didnt want to spend the $$ on them at the moment. I have some other irons in the fire that is keeping the budget a little tighter than i would like..lol

I did end up getting 2 of the MB QUART amps
(MB QUART DSC4125) I havent received them yet.. i will follow up with how they are after i install them. I will have them pushing 8 polk audio 6 1/2in mids, and just going to reuse the rockford amp for the subs that was in the boat when i bought it.

I really could not beat the price, i ordered them 2 days ago from this place for 132.00 each with free shipping.

If they last me one summer hopefully then i can upgrade them to JL AUDIO

I can hook you up with Focal 6.5 speakers too, we used the Polks for a few years and switched to the Focal's.

Big fan of MB Quartz. I have 6 - 6.5 MB's and 2 - 6x9 MB's running on a 4 channel MB amp. Love it. It rocks. Hurts your ears. Also have a Solobartic 12" Kicker running on a Fosgate amp. Got a deal or I would run MB's there as well

MB Quart hasn't been right since the late 90's. The name has been whored out to anyone that'll build they're stuff and lately it's drastically downhill.

ALSO, there's a few out there, especially on ebay, that are knockoff's of the already cheap MB Quart product line.

How would you know if they are knockoffs? I bought a couple sets off Ebay and they seem to work good. I not a stereo expert so I would have no way of knowing.
