Last season I had my fuel pick up snap off in the tank.
Its a 3/8 alluminum rod about 18 inches long or so. (I can here the jokes on that one now.)
I couldnt find the alluminum to make a new one and wanted to get back in the water so I made a steel to take its place, But I want to repair it properly this season.
Should I go alluminum again( ethanol doesnt like aluminum) or is there a suitable plastic type I should use?
I cant find anything listed anywhere for performance use.
I run twin 2.5 mercs if that matters at all for flow rate.

you can use any marine tank mfr pick up tube,as long as it has the same threads and it has the check ball in the 90 they supply..
their should be a USCG tag on the tank with all the mfr info on it..

I use copper pipe and non lead solder it into a steel fitting and cut to needed lenght. I install the fitting witha gas resistant sealer and have never had a failure. the parts are universally available and inexpensive.
