Default K-planes to LENCO

I am considering to replace my old K-PANES 300s by High Performance LENCO single or dual actuator on my 33 POWERPLAY

Any body have made this change ?
What do you think ?

Seems like a step backwards. Why would you get rid of the K's

I agree with the above, unless they offer a tab I'm not aware of, it seems like a step backwards...

Definitely a step backwards. What is wrong with the current tabs?

The K-planes are by FAR superior. I would not do that swap. I would do whatever it took to restore the k-planes before I swapped them for anything else.

OIl leaking on actuators
Salt water corrosion on plate ans actuator
solenoid trouble
Square Plate do be cutted on the inside( overheating of engines when full down)
indicator position cable to change ....

I live in MARTINIQUE and it is not the best place to rebluid anything

There are always good clean used k-planes popping up in the classifieds or swap shop. I'd replace them with the same units, just in better condition if yours are all corroded. Then its a bolt on deal. No sealing old holes, drilling new ones, etc.

Usually a sticky solenoid is a bad connection, but they are cheap to replace if the solenoid is bad. 33 powerplay is a bad a$$ boat, i would not put lenco tabs on it.
