I'd be interested in a set for a single with tabs

hey thanks man!

i emailed a few to ya.

the one i made for myself is a lil crude....i really am not big on the bling factor.....if anyone else want one i eill polish the body and finish it out a little more tastefully.

i think my design is a hit. it works great for me. the sheer ruggedness of the design, the ease of the install, the versitility the mounting style provides and the simplicity of operation is exactly what i would want from my indicator. i guess it could be jazzed up with thinner or anodized aluminum retaining nuts....or a colored UHMW indicator stick....but its basically gnna be stainless hardware and polished aluminum for now. brass and other materials would be an option as well.....

fyi: the indicator stick will have machined and/or colored grooves on it to indicate position more precisely.

just wanted to add: for an additional fee i can make on piece baseplates to mount multiple units if desired. i simply use a 1" stainless washer in my case since i only needed one.

i can also make a model that has just one retaining nut on the bottom side and the topside flange/basplate will be machined into the unit itself making for an even cleaner look.

again....if anyone is interested lemme know. any feeback or criticism is welcome!

thansk!

If the price is right I want one for twins. What do you need from me concerning my boat to be able to give a price?

i can do a set for twins (2 units) for 350 shipped. if you would like a single one piece baseplate it will be a little extra...maybe 20-50 bucks depending on material costs and the time....but as i said in previous post: when ordering a "set" (more than one) the stainless washers that come with each unit will be machind in such a way that allows them to "interlock" giving a closer mounting proximity and a custom one piece appearance.

this indicator should work with any tab or trim actuator utilizing a standard 3" inch travel 33c type cable.

the cable is not included.

blue thunder 02-15-2012 08:52 AM

Pics would help. Would you provide something for the cable to connect to the drive?

if you would like pics send me your email and i will get them over asap!

theres a couple memebers that i have emailed pics to that were kind enough to offer to post the pics of the "roughed in" first prototype that i put in my boat. hopefully they will put em up shortly....thanks to them for that!

i do not offer the actuator, but i am using the trim cylinder mounted version (made by Eddie i believe, i got it second hand from a buddy of mine) i could make an actuator but to be honest , the one like i have can be bought for 179 bucks brand new...so it really wouldnt be worth my time to try to compete with them in that area.

but as i said before: it will/should work with any actautor/boat using a standard 3" travel 33c type cable.
