I see you just screwed this to the transom, that was my main concern. I didn't know it the weight from the bracket, hoses, filter, and such would be to much to just use some large stainless screws.

I believe i used four stainless lags and silicone in the pre-drilled holes to seal it good . Twelve seasons and it has not moved . I guess i could have just beat 16 penny nails through the transom and bent them over on the outside ...:lolhit:

I saw some type of hose and fittings in the jeg's catalog That I was considering trying. I can't remember exactly what they were called at the moment. They were brass with barbs on them, didn't look like clamps were needed. Anyone know what I am talking about/use these?
