Nice looking job you did .But you did say you already owned the steel and someone had to pay for the tag-a -long trailer .My only point is to build a one off custom involves far more than people realize

Great job, thanks for the for the pictures. Looking to do that exact same conversion on our 38' cat trailer this year..

If you have the ability and the time and the materials ,etc it could make sense to build one .For the typical boater that has a friend that has a shop and says he can make it ....just go buy one .If you shop hard you can find it ,or at least have one made to spec from a big reputable trailer company that buys stuff in bulk, for less than joes cousin can build it and with a warrantee...A lot of people can talk the talk....My opinion
