Anyone know where to get or have drawings to build a 38' gooseneck trailer? Would be looking to build an 18K lb trainer setup as a gooseneck 2-5/16" ball, triple axle. Looking at cost of purchase versus building myself.
Thanks, Justin.

I know he scratch builds trailers including a goose neck for his 46 BT.
Might give him a week, I think he is out of the office currently.

Years ago I had decided I wanted to build a trailer to save money .After pricing all the pieces to build, I concluded there is no way to beat the price of some of todays manufacturers unless you can afford to buy boxcar loads of material. That bulk buying power kinda takes the savings out of one offs. I didn't want 50 trailers, just one.

This isn't a backyard project, something I would never attempt to do in a "garage". Thank for all the info guys, I will start digging for some drawings.

This was a standard V nose trailer converted to 5th wheel we finished this year for my 39 OE. We also change it from tunnel support to spray rail. Biggest cost for me was the paint (just over 2K) because I already had all the steel.
