Default self aligning roller rockers

Is there any downside to using self aligning roller rockers over non-self aligning?

self aleigning rockers are for a stock small block vortec cylinder head...if refering to big block and if you have a huge lift cam then td shaft style rocker is the way to go..

If you are running Vortecs, you must use self aligning rockers. If you don't they will quickly slide off the valves.
