JL Audio vs. Wet Sounds
#41
Hey, thanks!
Yesterday was to nice to work, so a trip to the lake was required
Anywho, no need to go online and order the controller. Just take $28 with you to Autozone! The controller has a line in and a line out for your iPod feed in and then out to your stereo. Or just use a splitter as I do. I think you'll like a little more separation control between the bass and highs, so may consider a 2nd controller just for the bass. Made a world of difference IMO. This is where I mounted them to a box and did all the wiring inside for a clean plug and play gadget. You may find as I did, you get the best results if you keep your music source, i.e. iPhone, iPod, etc, volume at full, and use your stereo itself for volume control. The lights are much more responsive.
Last nite I put the lights to 'the' original from Close Encounters. Felt like Richard Dryfess for those few minutes.
