LOL! I had to look that one up myself. It's a New England way of saying Yes.

Ayuh,..... New England is Faaaar to general,....

It's from my Downeast Maine up-bringin',....

It's a word with many meanin's, but generally a greetin', or agreein',....
'n it's native to Only Downeast Maine, where Maineiacs are born,.... ;) :D

Maineiacs........great. Another word I gotta look up. :D

Back on topic. I used Bilgecoat. Easy to apply, hard as nails, doesn't stain. Bright white when new. Had slightly dulled by the following yr but seems to have stabilized.

I am from Canada, Rustoleum is an American name for the same product that is called Tremclad here. by knowing which one I can cross reference the equivalent Tremclad product here.

Its for a gallon.
Its a small can. I use my digital scale to add in the couple ounces that it takes to mix up a quart or less. Mix it in with the paint and let it sit 20 minutes then paint away. Makes the 30 dollar a gallon paint harden like a 2 part and it can go on thick if needed. Farmers have been using it on their equipment for years.

Is the rustoleum white paint also available at home depot? The only rustoleum I have ever seen is in a rattle can...

It's in a regular paint can like house paint. People use it on all kinds of stuff, even fire hydrants here in the City I work. I'll be doing my bilge in a month or so, can't wait to get it done.

I used bilge koat and couldnt be happier.
A single engine boat only needed 1 quart and for $32 bucks you cant beat it.
I have read that its not glossy but thats nuts, this stuff leaves a very shiny finish
love it

A quart of white Rustoleum is about $10 or $12. It is far and away the best bang for the buck. My trailer is done with it as well as multiple parts on my boat. The color is almost an exact match to GM Olympic white witch has been used on 2500HD pick ups for years. I have brush touched my rockers and its tough as nails. I am sure there is better paint for a lot more money but for the money its darn good stuff.
