This is a great thread and have subscribed. I talked to Bob about doing this exact thing earlier this spring, but due to other issues wasn't in the budget so it's gotten pushed back to this fall. Great numbers with reliability. Thanks for sharing all this information.

I have a 18726543 cam as well and it has a bit of snarl to it and a decent idle for a 228/[email protected] with .600 lift. I did alot of reading and it looks like it reduces the stress on the crank and may add a little bit of power at higher rpm's.... Kaase has some data on his Ford engines and has made really good power with those type cams. Also, the new GM LS Engines also use the 18726543 firing order and they started with a clean slate for that engine design and they must have had a good reason for doing so??
