Damn. I'm going to remember that...

On on the fence myself about airflow research heads. Not because I don't think there the best for my motor but I run salt water only. Can anyone tell me what kind of hours there getting out of there's in salt. It's a lot of cheddar to spend on something that's going to rot away lol.

If I boated in salt I'd be getting closed cooling no matter what I bought.
IMHO. |

Yep - spend some more on that and sleep easy at night. Added benefit of more stable engine and oil temps.

Being that I am upgrading to AFR Heads I am most likely going to be selling my Merlin Heads (2 sets). They have about 100hrs on them. PM if interested. Thanks Tom |
Which is the better head AFR or Dart and why?

Bigboat, I think in many ways it all comes down to personal preference, both are good castings, and both perform well, I think you will find more drag racers running Dart or Brodix over AFR, budget wise, you can get a pair of AFR's set up for your application for the same amount money that the other ones will cost off the shelf. I'm running AFR's on my 540's and am very pleased, they made good dyno power, JMO
