I also read that but he didnt say why.

I'm guessing it just easier that way then dealing with all the EFI. I will be keeping the EFI as I like a challenge I also think it will be cheaper in the long run with EFI, Intake, Carb and MSD box arent cheap. Then again not everyone is a cheap as me lol

probably the custom stand alone harness and programming killed him.

Standalone harness can be bought for 150 and tuning if you do it yourself is less then 300. Doesnt seem to bad to me.

No big block pontoon for you . Or me . Or anybody lol.
If someone can put 3 supercharged ctsv motors on a pontoon and make it haul ,I was thinking you might be able to fab spacers, or adapter plates per se ,allowing some merc center risers to bolt up to your ls heads and get your 300 horse on the cheap .

Got the motor home last night and brought it into work this morning. Will start taking it apart this afternoon.

Few questions, can I run the auto flex plate or do I need a marine flywheel. The one of the SBC is almost like a manual transmission flywheel on how heavy it is. Is this need?

OH yea pic, doesnt look like much put its a start

Yes you need clutch flywheel. In auto trans the torq conv is the flywheel mass. Take off fan and put a propeller on the motor. Might not need a drive at all. Just dont lean back...i think the bore spacing is too far off to adapt bbc exhausts. Small block ford? That might be close enough.
