I have not check if the rotor is turning but I will, I ordered a coil and its cheap so I will replace tomorrow. Thankyou for that chart SB that's super handy , I will go through it

As an update I replaced the ignition sensor in the distributor and it flashed right up. The new sensor is enclosed in a plastic housing, the original one has a exposed metal surface that was very rusty. Hope this post helps others in my situation, thankyou all for your help 😃
