Suggestions on a stereo system? I was thinking one of those tiny 3 inch head units in the dash and 4 speakers? Anyone have any cool ideas?

I put the JBL PRV-175 in my donzi with 2 6x9 and 2 6.5" infinity apeakers. It sounds very clear and crisp. I can turn it up most of the way without any distortion. This is without an amp. I can hear it when I'm cruising around. The head unit will fit in your dash and is only 130 on amazon.

Something like this should keep it 'period correct'!

Yeah i've been cruising that place. Its a shame that on the older build threads the pictures don't work!

Thinking this looks good mounted to the dash with 4 speakers?

My 1st boat was a blue CVX-16 that was rotten. Had to separate the deck from the hull and rebuild every bit of it. Learned a lot and had a lot of fun when done. Space was the key on that thing, not much room. I put access panels under the front seat boxes for wallets and keys, cut an opening in the front bulkhead to throw shes under the fuel tank, put a secondary plastic fuel tank behind the back seat along with the battery and made the rear seat in 3 parts. The sides had removable bottom cushions to access space under the seat for ski ropes and the center section was a removable ice chest. Removable to get to the extra fuel tank and battery. I don't like clutter in my boats and all of that worked out pretty good with 4 people and 2 skis. Had a 150 inline 6 Merc and we ran upper 50's. Motor was a pain in the @$$ to keep running, swore I'd never own another outboard... Enjoy

I always thought the fuel tank in the front was pretty stupid - I always wondered how much better my CVX-18 would have been with the tank under the floor.

Not much room under that floor
