Ah, ok, I see it now. Can the outlet of the pump be on the bottom? Looks like the plates may be swappable? (Is that a word!?)

yes but it depends on the rotation of the pump, I had to change mine to the botton

Thanks for that. I didn't think to look at rotation.

$2k for pick up pumps that move a ton of water better be worth it!!!

Using a transom mount pickup is often the best and simplest way as it doesn’t over chill the air at idle.

Meaning no pump at all? When you are moving the water will flow up the cooler and overboard?

I'll look into the transom mounts at the next refresh, I can barely see the bottom of the boat in the engine compartment.

I may try to drill and tap the seawater pump housing, I had it out last night and was looking at it. Not a permanent solution, but it's worth a try.

As mentioned and if you run a 'T' - You could use this after the pump and before the oil cooler. It has 1 1/4" in's and out's with a 1/2" npt.

I ordered two of those, but I want to use the boat this weekend so I may just drill and tap two of the water pump housings I have and see how it works.
