Old plugs are like a corroded distributor cap and dirty fuel filter....bad ignition doesn't amount to anything positive. I look at it as a yearly event of cussing, cursing and scrapping knuckles - but then it's done and one less thing to think about going wrong

I typically coat myself in KY jelly and tie a rope around my waist.

In all seriousness, patience. Use extensions and wobblies. Make sure you start the plug by hand and buy a couple extra because you'll probably break one or two porcelains.

Yes, I have a 6 inch generic wobbler spark plug socket with a 5/8 attache. I ground it down and it is the best $6 tool I ever bought.

You're right. Let me go trade in my boat that I use 3 times a year to make spark plug changes easier.
