Just one word of caution on Amazon is to make sure it is an actual AC Delco part, they do sell them, but they also sell "knock offs" .

That is a Delco part I linked.

I buy several hundred , or more, delco parts from Amazon a year.

If you buy acdelco thru a seller on Amazon other than Amazon itself , you run a risk of counterfeit.

Amazon and AcDelco partnered up many years ago now. Amazon itself is an official reseller of AcDelco.

I don't buy parts off Amazon because of that reason. I can get OEM parts from local dealer or Advance Auto parts store for same price or less, especially since advance keeps offering 20% off e-mails. And if part is "special" to Mercury then the dealer.

Hello,

Thank you for the replies and I’m sorry if my question has taken over this thread. I did a test drive with my dealer and he had the computer on the entire time we were on the water. Everything was normal but I couldn’t go over 4700 rpm, I did get 4800 for a split second when we started. I normally hit 5000.

I just had a new cool fuel and new injectors installed. Wires and plugs are new, I just bought new plugs and am gapping them at 060. The plugs I have now aren’t at 060.

Are there any other suggestions for what to look for?

I didn’t buy them, my dealer put in the stock injectors from mercruiser. They are trying to get it done under warranty for the paint flaking issue.

I have the exact same problem, going to check a few things and change the crank sensor.

[QUOTE=Sydwayz;4749427]It's not hard to replace the CRANKSHAFT sensor. It's on the aft upper port side of the motor. As long as you have access, it's pretty easy. They can be difficult to get out though. Make sure you have your new one in hand, so you can see what it looks like, and how you have to remove it. You will need to twist it back and forth to work the long "stalk" out of the block. It's rare, but they can break off in the block. In that case, you would have to drill the remainder of the stalk and put a lag screw into it, to yank it out.

Can you spray it with WD-40 or something to get it out easier?

Thanls
