Listening to a motor will not tell if there would be reversion. SB is saying the cam that was installed can cause reversion

The original factory cam could be reinstalled without issue if the cam is in good shape

It is not the factory motor that was in there I do not believe.. Let me try and touch base with the old owner

I found out that it was the original motor. I also found this about the engine I bought as well, if different than what was specified previously:

No offense but I don't understand where the question is coming from. SB said you should use a different cam, ones he pointed out. I said could use the one from the motor the block came with if it was from a truck. I stated the gaskets needed
