Hey guys I have to redo a set of cylinder heads for my boat. The owners manuals calls for “stainless” steel valves in there. I should have trusted my gut and did the heads at 490 hours and within 3 min out on the water a valve got hung up and bent. Is it fine to replace with a new stainless valves or upgrade the exhaust valves? I just redid the port side engine and it had all stainless valves. Kind of worried now that I should have upgraded? Or should it be fine?

I think you should post in the Technical >General Q & A section instead.
I think more people will check there.
