Default how to connect a MSD 6AL to a Thunderbolt dist with no Tbolt amplifier

Because I cant find any info about how the Mercruiser ign amplier box I am working on. I am going top replace it wit a MSD 6AL i have. The whole root of the propblem is thet the Tbolt doesnt have a amplifer for it and is being controlled directly by the mercruiser ign box. My timing is jumping around from 16 deg to 25 degs. I want to wire in a MSD 6AL and run the T bolt locked. How do I connect the hall effect sensor in the dist to the 6AL? Is it as easy as the red/white terminal going to the violet wire (+) and the white/green going the the green of the MSD (-)

From the timing you mentioned in other thread it almost sounded like a v6 module. Wonder if it is.

as far as I remember, you can't,,need the merc amp. to convert it,then use the white wire.
now you can get the msd 6al-2,it has the a ability to take in a hall effect.heres a pic

^^^correct. Th Al2 will work with hall effect. The old boxes won’t. ^^^

OP- did you swap modules with other engine to see if it cured timing issue ?
