F2,

CamMotion? I believe they are. When my builder and I were discussing a new cam for my 496 rebuild, that was one of the suppliers he mentioned. But Powell is another good option.

Thanks. Brad.

I made over 900 with a 555ci, 420 blower and 651 cam with a set of Big Brodie heads. I think they are around 345cc if I remember correctly. I think it is a good cam for that combo. The 4/7 swap won't gain anything.

Made 640@5200/700@3900 NA with the Comp 525 efi cam, basically the same long block (548/305heads) you have.

Gotcha!! Looks like I'm going with the Crane 651 standard firing order cam and Johnson lifters.. and I'm hopeful to make 800 but that maybe wishful thinking.. I've got less cubic inches and less head than you built..all good information.. thanks guys

No sc pro here, but the AFR 305’s should still work really well.

with 9to1cr,651 cam and the305 heads at 8 lbs boost i think 850 hp is about right.the 420 blower is in between a 671 and an 871.
