Hello

Thank you all for your valuable help

The weather being less cold, I went to the hall.

I removed the valve covers, the spark plugs.

With strong lighting, I saw on of the lifters are the model with the tie bar !!!!

The valve of cylinder n° 2 has the most gap

Thanks

I'm not an engine builder, but on that loose rocker, it looks to me like the adjuster and lock are backed off a little. Also hard to say that if it was run a long time in that position if it has not started to beat up the lifter, and push rod. Any trash in the oil? If not, you might just re-adjust your valve train and run it again.

how long have you run that engine?there sure doesn't look like oil has gotten to the top end.

Hello

The lifters are like the Johnson picture.
Thanks for this reference

Recently during winterising, I requested an oil analys.
The result is good

rocker play like that heavily depends engine / valve train position. it’s common to have a little play in the rocker when springs are decompressed. I.e. on the up swing. when I say a little play. You can wiggle rockers back and forth a little.

with that being said…your video looks like there is up in down play. Not sure that looks normal.

You know I would go through and readjust them all and fire the motor up, see how it sounds.

Sutphen does have a good comment, sure doesn't look like any oil in the top end, what is up with that? What was/is your oil pressure at idle and running?

sutphen 30 01-26-2025 05:36 PM

are you sure you have the oil lines on right?I'd check that

Did you rotate the engine and check the adjustment on all of them?? Is the rocker nut and polylock still snug??
I would at a minumum, remove that rocker and pushrod and inspect them for damage.
