Can you walk on the hatch of a 38 ZRC? I was just wondering if you could put a mount a swim platform on the back of one.

Of course you can. A platform on the back is very handy. We have one on the Gladiator and it works out great. I haven't seen one on a ZR comp though.

The reason I ask is that I was told by someone who has ridden in a few of them that you are not suppose to walk on the engine hatch of the zrc's. He didn't know if it is because they are too slippery or because they are made very light weight for speed.

If they couldn't put a sunpad on the back of the hatch then the boat might be too impratical for my needs.

I have walked on one before. I was with someone from the factory and he never said anything about it. Seemed plenty sturdy for my 195 lbs!
