I am not aware of any spinning or flipping issues on the 38ZX (Fixx would know for sure), but two weeks ago when i was in Las Vegas I saw the 45ZX that spun, flipped and sunk on Lake Mead 2 years ago. She has been bought back from the insurance by the owner, it has not been repaired, all 3 outdrives are off of it, just sittin in outdoor storage suffering from the elements. the owner has been busy playin with his 50' Outerlimits instead of fixing the 45'.

Im thinking that boat should be around 95k but I'm no expert with these boats. I just found out it has max machine works drives with boxes.. But ive seen so many for a lot less. Not to worried about speed.. 80+ is perfectly fine.. The cabin is most important along with handling...

I agree the 45 had riding issues but the 38 ZX did not nor have I ever heard of any running 100 mph. Possibly the ZR with 700's but as I stated its a totally diff animal. A friend had the ZX with whipples and it was around 86 mph (at about 700 hp I believe he said). The buy price should be around $100k give or take based on condition and options. Good luck and I know of another one avail in great shape if you want to pm me. Good luck, hope this helps. Hammer
