One other thing to check is the anchor storage area. Mine had no drain in the bottom and was full of water. Drilled a hole in it and glassed it, so water would drain in the bilge. No biggie.
Just repowered with Haxby built Whippled 557s and Imco drives. 101mph and still dialing it in. The props need to spin in with the stock power to give the stern some additional lift. Once you put bigger power (1100 per side) in it will porpoise and try to bow steer unless you spin the out.

Once the new engines were in, it would porpoise and bow steer as it went past 80 MPH. It was bad enough that I never tried to drive through it. Changed the props to spin out and the bow loosened up. Trim was much more sensitive and effective. It is very stable and solid feeling at speed. I love it!
Just had first service. Haxby put the final timing in and shaved the inter cooler pick up a little shorter. Ran 104 MPH and we ran out of space. Would have gone a little faster as it was still pulling. Just waiting for my labbed props from BBlades. Hoping to see 110+ MPH. Fingers crossed.

nice! ya know thats one thing I never tried and always wanted to, switch prop rotation just to see how it ran with stock 525SC's. Good to see one of these with big power putting up big numbers, its a fast hull.
