Winter update:
lots of work has been done to FantaSea. From engines to paint to fiberglass work. We were at the lake last weekend doing some work to the condo and got to see the main channel frozen over. Hopefully it doesn’t last to long spring fever has set in and we’re ready to go boating.

Main channel frozen shut

Sneak peek of the engine cowling.. no more red!!!

Boat looks great! Do you remember what you did for gel on the few patches and stress cracks? Did you use pigments to get a match or an off the shelf color? If so, do you remember the color and company?
Thanks in advance!

The boat was re-gelcoated from front to back when I bought it on the sides, The rear of the boat the fiberglass guy had to play with the pigment to get it to match, I cant say exactly what his recipe was but it turned out perfect.

JKetels -- thanks! I was hoping for an easy button with an off the shelf color that matches well ... but pigments and trial and error it is I think. We have a '99 33 ZX that has some pretty shoddy gel touch ups on the bottom that I am planning to make better. Thanks again and the boat is turning out very nice -- good work!

Hey everyone, If you were out at Harbor Hop this past weekend you might have seen us riding around. The boat ran great and now that the engines match it looks awesome to. There’s a few more updates and changes that are coming in the following weeks so keep tuned.

Freshly painted motors

New rear seat fabricated by Wave & Wheels.. backrest to come soon

^^^^ Turned out awesome! Hope to see it sometime this year down there. Unfortunately missed HH weekend as we came home mid-week that week for wife to get the second shot and she wasn’t up for the quick turnaround back down there.
