Re: 38 ZR Comp speed
Put a call in to ole' Flowers at Extreme in Dallas and chew his A$$ out while you're at it :drink: :drink:
Keep us posted as to how it runs, I remember Mike telling me previously that he was running near 90. I saw the boat at a couple of Pokerruns, and it was running good. Good Luck |
Re: 38 ZR Comp speed
OK, What am i doing wrong ???
Just back from Havasu, New labbed bravo 32's and i am still only seeing 79 mph. As suggested i ran mostly around the 4-5 trim range. However - i am only getting to 4900 RPM no matter how far i trim up... Do you think by a.) reducing the pitch to gain the RPM i could still pick up 6 mph ? Seems like a stretch... |
Re: 38 ZR Comp speed
Sorry things didn't work for you on those props. How hot was it in Havasu when you ran it ? Havasu has always slowed me down 2-4 mph exspecially when it is hot out. Keep in mind you are at 3000 feet elevation and if it is smooth water your not going to be as fast if you were running in the ocean. Did you test in the ocean yet and if so was there a increase in rpm or top speed? You should make sure you do your testing with the same amount of fuel the same passengers and the same location.
Call Craig at Wilson Custom Marine @772 287 8755 He was very helpful in dialing in my ZR props. He might be able to free up your new props a bit which should lead into an increase in top speed. Good luck ZR |
