Re: 38 ZR Comp speed
Buy our 38. You'll still be off about 15mph., but it'll be to the plus side.

Correction... about 25mph. Sorry about that, I was feeding the dog and trying to add at the same time.

Re: 38 ZR Comp speed
I am running 32p bravo's( no lab)@5,000 = 80mph
Still need 5mph to be where i was told the boat should run. |
Re: 38 ZR Comp speed
[COLOR=Red]You should have the props checked out and lab finished. Make sure the props match up. You need to free them up to get at least 5200+ rpm. Just the slightest vibration or un-true blade will make a difference. Also make sure you are not over trimming your ZR. my ZR runs its fasted @4.0 to 5.0 on the trim gauge.
I bought my ZR used like you did and I could only get 87mph @ about 4950 rpm w/ 525efi. I sent the props out and the prop guy said the blades were very dirty. He also said they were a little mis matched and a couple others things I can't remember. When I got the props back the boat went right up to 92mph @5250 RPM Good Luck ZR undefined |
Re: 38 ZR Comp speed
OK, Props are out being labbed so i hope to see a magic number next weekend.
Thanks for all the advice - i'll keep everyone posted. Dave |
