[COLOR=Red]You should have the props checked out and lab finished. Make sure the props match up. You need to free them up to get at least 5200+ rpm. Just the slightest vibration or un-true blade will make a difference. Also make sure you are not over trimming your ZR. my ZR runs its fasted @4.0 to 5.0 on the trim gauge.
I bought my ZR used like you did and I could only get 87mph @ about 4950 rpm w/ 525efi. I sent the props out and the prop guy said the blades were very dirty. He also said they were a little mis matched and a couple others things I can't remember.
When I got the props back the boat went right up to 92mph @5250 RPM
