07' 300xs I am told that most people are having touble finding the power with these motors. Certainly the low rpm's sucks.
I am very confident that my boat will see great speeds once I get the new props from brett.
set-up is everything. With the wrong heights and tow my boat will barely touch 100. You may have a balance issue remember the less running surface in the water the greater the speed. I would try additional set back. bolt on a 2.5" spacer and try that.
But hey 100 is still great.

very low slip.
2:1 gear ratio 31's 112mph 8200 race set up
The doug wright slip goes way down when the boat gets over 105 plus. The hull design takes over.
also slip goes down with the higher rpm's.
