Thanks DR! |
Cats are better than Vee hulls using over hub props. So water pressure still giving you room to raise motors a bit more?

Looking good Darren! I'm guessing you're at 1.5" above the bottom right now? From what I hear, 1.75" above is about the limit with those gearcases. Great setup you have, and I'm certain you'll get 125 once you get the 35s from Dave. Have you sent your 34s back to him yet?
|
AZ, yes water pressure is good.
Thanks Dale, I actually sent the 34's back to Grant and I think he is sending them out for someone else to try. Not sure when the 35's are coming. |
Is that large screen on your dash linked to your Vessel View? It's hard to tell from the picture, but it looks like a Vessel View below the larger screen above it. If so, did you do that so you could view more data at once using both screens? I've heard that a Simrad screen will link to the Merc stuff, as Simrad makes the screens for Merc.

Yes the large screen is a Garmin 7612 and it is linked to the vesselview7 below it. I use the Garmin primarily for Nav/water depth and the stereo but it does have the ability to show all the engine data.

Your dash is the way of the future, looks very cool! Are you using the trim indicators through the Vessel View? I've heard they can get off, and they need to be re-calibrated from time to time. The X-Cat guys are all running mechanical indicators still. More pics of your interior would be great, you guys did a stellar job! :ernaehrung004:
