Have you put enough time on the boat to figure out your best cruise speed vs mpg & gph ?

So far I have 23 hours on the boat and from what I can tell my best mileage is 3.1 mpg around 74 mph and just over 2 mpg at 100.

Boat looks great on the water Darren! Glad to hear it's doing so well on mileage, not quite what the XSs get, but not too far off. I get about 3.2-3.3 mpg at 75 mph (burning 11-12gph per motor) and right at 3.0 mpg at 90 mph (burning 15gph per motor). I never checked at 100mph, but I know the mileage drops off significantly at WOT - right around 2mpg when running WOT (115-118mph w/ two guys and fuel). When you factor in that the XSs are burning oil at a rate of around 30:1 (yes guys, I go through about 2 gallons of oil for every 60 gallons of gas burned), the cost is probably about the same per mile. I hope you get your 35s from Dave soon, can't wait to hear the results!

Dale, I received the 35's last Friday but did not have a chance to run them. I am hoping to run them the weekend after Labor Day and will post the results. Thanks!

No wind at all in the front seats and the back is not that bad at all. You can talk to the people in the backseat while underway.

Boat flies level and runs very flat.

You will have to let us know what the top speed is in some cooler weather with your big props.
