With about 7500$ worth of max machine worx upgrades it will handle 750-800 hp in a 5000lb boat for a while.
Steel tower
xr gears
better upper gear bearings
billet vert,prop,input and upper shafts
billet top cap
billet coupler
with correct assembly

I gave up on Bravo's and went with a BMax last year. No regrets.

Installed last September. I've just sorted out prop setup with the 1:30. I would say about 3 to 4 MPH. But it's not breaking. I'm considering ordering a 2" shorty lower we'll see. I'll live with the loss if needed.
Anybody have any thoughts?

I wonder if it is due more to the the 1.3 ratio (instead of 1.5)? What pitch prop are you running?

Could very well be. I am running a 26 Bravo. I just ordered a labbed for some more RPM. I am not quite hitting my sweet spot. We'll see.
