How did you decide to go with a polished -2 shortie? I thought about it, but stayed with the normal finish? Are they faster?

The slightly rougher surface can reduce drag in the water by creating & trapping tiny air bubbles around the unit.. I dont know exactly how much you will see from the drive a lone like that, but some hulls that scuff the wetted surface of the bottom can benefit slightly.. There are also some coatings that can be applied to also simulate this.. Jamie / Lakeside
