Pat W

I reread the post twice. By complete package do mean with power or drive plus transom assembly and steering?

I don't want an engine, just a drive/transom assembly.

Thanks for the response. Was this on an imco Extreme Advantage 4x4 with the trans in the extensino box? Did you remove the extension boxes also. I am looking for something to bolt onto my extension box, other then a bravo upgrade. If your saying your drive will do that, it will become the front runner. Im not looking for a huge project or a complete rerig.

We removed the 4x4 standoff because our drive has a vertical zero transom angle and a large footprint.

I was talking about engine/trans/drive. To make a drive replace a bravo or trs or 3,4,5,6 ect... It needs to have the same x dim all of those are different. I do not know if they will offer it separate but I think it makes good sense to do that. The WMD drive is a little overkill for a bravo type boat. It was designed for diesels and big hp gas motors.

We did a design (bravo type no transmission 800hp)for that and it will be a part of what we will offer, It will be up to the production company for when they want to bring it out.

I will keep you posted on when we start running that drive.

Thanks for the compliments on the WMD drive.

Default Kamma

Pat W. You talk about the Kamma boot etc. Can Kamma parts be found or are you using the term in a general way ? First time I ever saw your drive was, I would like to say 6-7 yrs ago down in Key West it is "Outstanding" best of luck with all of your designs and lets go racing and beat the black. Jay "84" 33-Sutphen "I'CE SCREAM" Kamma Drives luv'em.

If my memory serves me correctly they use the same boot as the Kaama drive.

There are still parts available for the Kaama drive through Archer Marine. 949-646-9778 We re-made the tail (prop cover) recently. Someone on OSO made the tooling again for the boot but I have not heard if they tried one yet.

The kamma was designed by my father and the WSD was designed by my father and me before he passed away. He wanted me to use the Kaama boot because it was already done. Since then the tooling disappeared and we could not get boots so we changed the pattern for the casting to accept the new boot of the WMD.

Pat, Do you convert wet six drives to dry at your shop and if you do what would a ballpark price be for a pair? I would like to have my drives converted by a local company, local meaning within 500 miles of Sacramento. Thanks Doug
