Does anyone make a better pinion bearing retainer nut thenthe stock nut from Merc. I have a 1999 Brovo 1 drive.

Imco makes a steel retainer nut that I have used for years. There are two different ones offered.. You dont want the the rigid one.. Just the regualar Bravo one.. I dont have the pn handy or I would tell you what it is..

After the weekend I will be able to get to it..

I looked up Imco Marine on line and found a steel nut, part #BRV129. Is this the one to use or not to use.
