Default Transome assembly GONE!

When my gimbal bearing went out so did the transom assembly. Now I am looking at a 3400 dollar repair bill just due to the fact that the transom assembly is 2400. Any thoughts? Can i get a rebuilt one? It a bravo 1

I saw those but they are still 2400. I was thinking MAYBE used or rebuilt but await some advise.

new

buy new one or one from member on oso for a decent deal . very important part of the drivetrain . dont wast youre money and annoyance of some used junk . remember youll have to pull engine to replace . its no big deal but if youre paying someone to do it it will be a big deal . buy new and be done with it , just my thoughts , by the way been there done that used seen ended up buying a hp gimble slightly used from pantera 28 kirk nice guy thanks rob

I have a brand new 2004 unit, less trim cyls. also have about a dozen good used apart ready to go together. I could make one up that's way better than new. I have many new parts transom assy parts too.
Will acccept reasonable offer, may be interested in yours for core parts / rebuild. Let me know. BBB
