My nose cones on my trs drives apear to be cracking where they meet the drive. It's starting to look like chit, is there anything i can do. How were they installed originally? I would like to smooth out the transition and repaint the lowers.

Sand them down, re-epoxy and paint. Here is a link for the epoxy products I used to install nose cones.

I agree, its probably the old epoxy breaking down. It may not have been prepped & installer properly originally.. J

You can use "All Metal" that is suggested by Tom at Hydromotive.
