any advice?

When adjusting the fuel pressure be sure not to crimp the return line instead of just fixing the regulator...

The pins....get yourself a slide hammer.. Take out the 4 bolts and install the slide hammer in the tapped hole in the center of the pin and hammer it out. If it's stuck heat up the pin, spray it with PB Blast and let it sit until the SS shrinks back down, then use the slide hammer again... Go slow with the bolts that hold the pin in so you don't sheer them off inside the aluminum...

Please don't mess up JoeD's boat!
Or make a puller....which I found easier than the slide hammer....

I am making a coupler nut that is female threaded for a 5/8 slide hammer on one side then has a female 3/8 thread on the other end. This way you can use a piece of 3/8 all thread to screw into the pins that are female, then screw the nut on itself for the pins that have 3/8 bolts coming out. Looks something like this http://www.fz09.org/forum/attachment...-25-9-12-8.jpg

I hope with heat and this tool they should come out.
