Default TRS Question

Is the sea pump on a TRS boat in the drive itself or mounted on the engine like on a Bravo? Been doing some reading & i thought it said have to take drive off boat in order to change the impeller. Is this correct?

Trying to figure out the part # i need for the impeller kit & the procedure on how to change.

i *think* this may be the 2 piece housing & not the 1 piece like bravos. i wanted to have all the parts purchased so when i go back down in 2 weeks i can start the work. i may just buy the impellers & not worry about the housing unless i get it off & decide it needs replacing.

The old 2 piece has paper gaskets you will have to replace them with new ones plus the housing does wear out too. The new one piece also works. Just buy the whole one piece kit and get it done with in one attempt.

How do you use the one-piece housing with offshore mounts? And where can you find the plastic part of the old two-piece housing?
