Default TRS to B1 questions

Got a friend looking at a boat that had TRS drives (none currently).... if he gets the B1's and all the hardware can he bolt these into the transom without modifying the transom where the old TRS drives once were bolted?

NO , need to close the old cutout and recut for bravos.

Bravos are smaller then the TRS with the cutout and boltpattern.

Are those expensive? I need to tell him an idea of pricing before he jumps head first into this huge project.

I have a nice used set of TRS's with Gimbals ,bellhousings and trannys !

Asking 4500 ,the Conrads cost around 15 K
The Bravos are around 10 + 1500 for the Transom work.

Yeah to what he said! I did the TRS to Bravo One conversion several years ago. Also, I believe the Bravo One drive is a bit shorter in length so, it would make a good time to re-think/update your X demension as well. I also used that time to add extension boxes.
