Anyone here ever get into a Volvo XDP outdrive?? That would be the all composite one ... got a customer who I build his Bravo's and XR's for that wacked one this weekend ...... I've built a few of the older style DP's (got 'em on my cruiser w/ the diesels) ... but never really tore into an XDP yet.

Needs propshafts replaced or straightened and the lower skeg has a chunk out of it..... as it's all composite .. not sure what the insurance guy is going to say about it ....

Just lookin for some "need to watch out for this" info if anyone has any.

You will probably have to replace the case . When I was into one it looked like a composite over aluminum to me. If your a volvo dealer I would call and ask what's the best way to repair it if not give me a call @ 281-326-4800 we are a Volvo dealer. I'll what I can to help.

We where high and dry thank you. I wasnt trying to get in your $$. If you need somebody to call Volvo thats a dealer I would to help you out or get you parts at cheep price.
