Season's Greetin's
Any of you guys running a nosecone or IMCO lower? I have a 88mph Nordic Rage (25') with a std XR lower and wonder if a nosecone might speed things up.
I am running just shy of 5200 rpm 1.5 gear 30" bravo prop, hyd steering.
Anyone have an IMCO lower they'd care to sell or preference for nosecone?
Thanks!
Collin

Hey Collin,
I have been trying to get some real world results on this same issue. Havn't had any luck yet, but have heard that the hydromotive nose cone on standard bravo lowers work as well as the IMCO lower if you are not changing your X dim.
Have you had a chance to snap some pics of your setup?
Thanks,
Jon

the only thing we have notice is the cones help with handling when u get pass 85 and pass 90 u need them for sure but at 85 to 90 I dought if u will pic up speed but if u repower and start heading towards 100 u will have to have them. Does not matter if imco, cone or sport master (longer skeg helps with stability) just as long as its a cone on the front and differnt props work different with cones also

with a stock bravo lower and its blunt nose as you get above 90 or so the lower will create a wash around the casing and increase slip, in my case it completely blew the prop out and I'm turning maximus 32's.
