I'm running mid 70's. still trying different props since changing from a TRS to the bravo. 26 bravo 1 seems to work the best so far but I'd love to try a hydromotive 4 blade. I need some stern lift. Looking to break 80.

Just my 02. I added a nosecone to an outboard years back. I believe it was Bob's. Looked cool and everything. But after a while water got under the bondo and it kept blistering and peeling off. Nothing but a pain in the ass. Constantly rebondoing and painting it. And it really made no improvement in speed. But boat only ran mid 70's.

talk to Hydromotive. That is the nose cone of choice in my circle. But the newer Merc is suppose to be good up to high 80mph. A lot of it depends on what your hull combination likes.

I had a 29 Fountain that ran 80 mph, added nose cones and made no difference in speed. If you like the looks of a nose cone, which I did, go ahead and put it on but don't look for any mph gains. I had Bobs
